Streaming Rooms

Learn how to use streaming rooms for live broadcasts, webinars, and company-wide announcements.

Streaming rooms on Pivot are designed for live broadcasts to larger audiences, such as webinars, events, or company-wide announcements. These rooms provide an organized and interactive platform for engaging with viewers while maintaining control over the stream as a host.

Before the Stream Starts

Countdown to the Stream

Before the stream begins, attendees will see a countdown timer indicating when the session will start. This ensures everyone is prepared and ready to join at the designated time.

During the countdown, attendees can request to become speakers. This allows the host to manage who will actively participate in the session.

View Attendees

You can also preview the list of people who will be attending the stream, giving the host insight into their audience ahead of time.

Stream Status

Once the stream is active, attendees can see:

  • Who’s watching: A live count of viewers participating in the stream.
  • Who’s speaking: A list of current speakers, allowing for easy management of discussions.
